KRWA has partnered with ESP to provide energy assessments free of charge to water and wastewater utility systems in Kansas. The energy efficiency assessment evaluates current and past energy use and identifies opportunities to reduce energy consumption and costs. The program is targeted at any water or wastewater systems serving 10,000 or fewer people.
Recent assessments conducted by ESP have included the cities of Baxter Springs, Hesston, Mankato, Rose Hill and Sabetha, with many more currently underway.
Interested cities can contact Brad Rahe at 913-381-2800 x104 or by sending him an email.
You can read the recent article about the program here, or download the entire July 2021 issue of The Kansas Lifeline magazine from the KRWA website.
