Construction/Water Specialist

Alex brings over 25 years of experience in instillation and project management for energy efficiency improvements across the U.S. and Caribbean. Alex has in-depth expertise in lighting and water efficiencies for municipalities, schools, prisons, hospitals and commercial facilities.  He has handled conservation projects from preliminary assessments to construction completion, managing contractors during site audits, construction bids, walk-throughs, and project development. He has led numerous site audits, developed priorities for energy conservation measures, and conducted measurement and verification reviews.

Alex’s work at ESP entails project oversight for overall cost control, risk management, and feasibility. During the construction phase, he coordinates subcontractors who install lighting, water, HVAC and building envelope energy conservation measures, and ensures timely project completion. Additionally, he develops opportunities for clients who are seeking to improve the efficiency their water, wastewater and water distribution systems.

In his free time, Alex enjoys playing the guitar and traveling to new places. He also enjoys cooking and finding unique recipes to try.
