Senior Energy Engineer

As a senior energy engineer, Brett works closely with clients to understand their needs, facilities and systems, and then develops energy-saving solutions to match those needs. Through innovative and common-sense approaches to energy conservation measures, he has saved clients over $100 million in combined electrical and natural gas savings.

Brett has been in the HVAC industry since 1986. He began his career working on, and operating, high pressure steam boilers and HVAC in the US Navy. His engineering experience in the design-build and energy services markets have provided him a solid technical and working knowledge of HVAC and control systems, central heating and cooling plants and facilities operation. He also has experience assisting customers with supply-side decisions, specifically how they can more effectively manage their facility resources to reduce energy costs.

Brett has experience in a wide range of markets, including healthcare, laboratories, pharmaceuticals, higher education and K-12 schools. He is a registered Professional Engineer in both Kansas and Missouri, a Certified Energy Manager, and a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional.
